First Girlfriend, now boyfriends

If her steamy act in Girlfriend wasn’t enough, Amrita Arora will be seen sleeping with half of Bollywood in her next.

After a romp in the bed with Isha Koppiker in </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Girlfriend</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">, Arora will play a wanton woman in Mahesh Manjrekar’s </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Rakt</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">“I play Dino Morea’s lover. It’s actually like a buffet – sleeping with so many men,� Arora says with a hint of mischief. Her character Natasha is a much sought after woman unabashed about her sexuality. Because of her dark upbringing, Natasha grows up as an insecure woman, who camouflages her real self by being flamboyant.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">The former VJs is also looking forward to Mahesh Manjrekar’s </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Deh</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> alongside Dino Morea. Arora plays a supermodel at the receiving end from her husband. “This one is a hard-hitting film. It’s good that there is more character-based cinema happening these days,� she says.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Arora, who began her Bollywood career with </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Kitne Door Kitne Paas</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> opposite Fardeen Khan two years ago, has so far done immensely forgettable films. Last year, she was seen in a catchy item number </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Dilli Ki Sardi</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:=""> in </span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="" font-style:="" italic="">Zameen</span><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">“I joined Bollywood for fun. I always wanted to sing, dance and romance. Of course, there is money and glamour too, But I don’t see myself doing art house cinema,� Arora says.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">The art house circuit would be glad to hear that.</span></div> </div>
